Interventional Radiology Nurse
This is a 13-week contract position.
AM Shift: 08:00 – 18:30, 4 × 10-hour shifts per week.
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse who can quickly integrate into the team with minimal orientation. Previous Emergency Department (ED) and/or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience is strongly preferred, as it provides the critical care skills needed to manage patient hemodynamics, recognize and respond to complications, and thrive in a fast-paced Interventional Radiology environment.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor moderate sedation during various procedures.
- Manage patient care in a high-volume procedural environment.
- Participate in a variety of procedures such as catheter placements, angiograms, biopsies, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and Neuro Interventional Radiology procedures.
- Maintain strong communication and teamwork with the medical team.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 3 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience.
- Previous travel experience required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience in administering and monitoring moderate sedation.
