Job Description:

The RN will work in a float pool capacity covering Cardiac Telemetry, Med/Surg Telemetry, and Surgical Telemetry units. The nurse will assess, implement, and evaluate care needed by patients, collaborating with the healthcare team to individualize patient care, and directing nursing support staff according to standards of nursing practice.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and implement patient care under the direction of a licensed physician.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Direct nursing support staff in patient care.

Requirements:

• 2 years of nursing experience required; travel experience preferred.
• PA Registered Nurse License required;
  Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required.
• Skills in basic nursing care, stroke patient management, and handling cardiac drips such as Ammio, Nitro, and Cardizem.
