RN Supervisor Opportunity

Brookside Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, a premier long-term care facility in Abington, Pennsylvania, is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN to join our team.

Shift Type:
Every other weekend 7 am - 7 pm & 7 pm - 7 am

As an RN Supervisor, the expectations would be:

• Completion of nursing assessments, transfers, discharges, treatment plans, progress notes, medication reconciliation, medication administration, and vitals.
• Conveys accurate information in a supportive and courteous manner to the unit nursing staff
• Seeks out supervision and direction from a physician.
• Assist the medical doctor as needed
• Attend and actively participate in departmental staff meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality and proper boundaries.
• Orientation of new employees to unit-specific policies and procedures
• Must have knowledge of HIPAA laws, confidentiality, state licensing regulations, CPR, AED, and First Aid.
• Oversight and serve as a resource to the direct care staff
• Support to the Director of Nursing and Unit Managers with staffing and activities as assigned
• Direct patient care when necessary and/or assigned

RN Supervisor

Qualifications:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse RN by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
• CPR Certification
• Experience is preferred in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing.
• Must possess a compassionate and caring demeanor
