Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19140!

Registered Nurse – Mother/Baby

Philadelphia, PA | Mother/Baby

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

• Provide family-centered postpartum and newborn care within a multidisciplinary maternity unit serving a diverse urban population
• Deliver antepartum care including antepartum monitoring and intrapartum support throughout the childbirth experience
• Float to Labor & Delivery and NICU as needed — experience in both areas is required
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:3, which may vary based on unit needs
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to promote patient safety, education, and positive birth experiences
• Work at least 1–2 weekends per month; no holiday requirement

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Mother/Baby or related experience
• Proficiency in postpartum care, newborn care, and antepartum care including antepartum monitoring
• Experience floating to both Labor & Delivery and NICU
• Fetal monitoring experience required (certification not required)
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required

• Experience working in a high-volume or urban maternity setting
• Familiarity with caring for culturally and socioeconomically diverse patient populations
• Experience in a 32-bed or larger maternity unit
