Lawn Care Specialist

DTL Total Turf Care is a rapidly growing turf management company serving residential clients throughout Chester County and surrounding areas. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Lawn Care Specialist to join our expanding team as we continue to elevate the turf care experience through exceptional service, results, and relationships.

  Work Schedule:
  • Spring–Fall: 40–50 hours per week, Monday–Friday
  • Saturdays as needed due to weather
  • Winter hours may be reduced or seasonally laid off depending on workload
• Turf Types:
  Primarily residential Turf‑Type Tall Fescue
• Equipment:
  Steel Green application equipment

• Safely and accurately perform turf applications on assigned routes
• Learn and follow all DTL service standards, safety protocols, and procedures
• Obtain or maintain required Pennsylvania pesticide licensing
• Build strong, professional relationships with customers
• Represent the DTL brand with excellence and professionalism

• Manage and maintain a dedicated customer route
• Perform fertilizer, weed control, insect, and disease applications according to program standards
• Ensure services are completed thoroughly, accurately, and professionally
• Identify turf health issues and communicate recommendations to leadership

• Prepare trucks and application equipment daily
• Safely operate company vehicles and equipment
• Maintain proper equipment calibration for accurate application rates
• Clean and maintain trucks and equipment daily and weekly
• Follow all environmental, public, and chemical safety protocols, including PPE

• Communicate regularly with the Director of Operations, Director of Agronomy, and Director of Customer Success
• Participate in meetings and training sessions
• Deliver top‑tier customer service and act as a trusted representative of DTL

• Maintain a clean, professional appearance
• Wear company‑approved uniforms and safety equipment
• Uphold DTL policies, procedures, and core values

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Certificate or turf‑related education preferred
• 1-3+ years of relevant turf or lawn care experience
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check, drug test, and DOT physical
• PA Pesticide Applicator License preferred
• Must obtain PA Commercial Applicator License (Core, Category 6 &
  7) within 90 days if not already licensed

• Hourly Pay: $22.81 – $30.00 (based on experience)
