Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in both Manual and Automation Testing, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Analyse business and functional requirements to create effective test strategies.
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform Manual Testing for web, mobile, and API applications.
- Develop and maintain Automation Test Scripts using industry-standard frameworks.
- Execute Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, and End-to-End Testing.
- Perform API Testing using Postman or REST Assured.
- Identify, document, prioritise, and track defects using JIRA or similar tools.
- Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing before releases.
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, and Business Analysts.
- Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Prepare test execution reports and QA documentation.
- Continuously improve testing processes, automation coverage, and quality standards.
- Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
- Experience with Selenium Web Driver using Java or Python.
- Knowledge of TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest.
- API Testing using Postman and REST Assured.
- SQL for database validation.
- Experience with JIRA for defect management.
- Version control using Git/Git Hub.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Automation Framework Design (Hybrid, Data-Driven, Page Object Model).
- Experience with Playwright or Cypress.
- Performance Testing using JMeter.
- BDD Frameworks such as Cucumber.
- CI/CD pipeline integration with Jenkins or Git Hub Actions.
- Docker and basic cloud testing knowledge.
- Cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
- Security and accessibility testing awareness.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Good time management and multitasking skills.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced Agile environment.
