Job Description:

Scope:
Xfinity Connect is looking to expand reach of talking guide to deaf and blind to ensure they are fully in touch with new features

Writes and executes tests to validate products and software applications

Contributes to the development of Accessibility Quality Assurance test philosophies and methodologies

Identifies viable test strategies in order to support testing product functionality

Collaborates with product and development teams to identify product and technical requirements

Reviews and verifies requirements and design specifications for validity in overall product design, with an emphasis towards product testability and verification

Ensures proper execution of regression test procedures and automated test suites and scripts

Participates in design, code and functional product reviews

Works with other Quality Assurance Engineers or Software Engineers to identify, reproduce and document bugs or defects

Assists in providing accessibility subject matter guidance and mentorship for other Quality Assurance Engineers

Provides leadership and consultation with regards to accessibility best practices, procedures and techniques

Supports trials of new infrastructure designs/services

Additional Information:

Drive QA and Compliance on Web Mobile and Xfinity Packages

Web mobile provides accessibility to sites for those that are either blind or deaf

Need to be within ADA regulations

Sprints in Agile Methodology

No android/iOS experience, not a Developer. Needs to understand the difference in how service is delivered to disabled

Test the Accessibility of Xfinity System- (Talking guide) Make sure users using voice instructions are able to navigate on the screen and ensure they are fully engaged with new features

Establish test cases to validate existing features (Sometimes the new features break the old features.)

Candidate will do manual testing

Must Have:

HTML

Direct Screen Reader experience

Work directly related to accessibility function

Java (preferred)
