HH Red Stone is a growing, service-focused property management firm proudly supporting public housing authorities and HUD programs. We are currently hiring a Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a senior housing community in Philadelphia. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled leader who values dignity, respect, and compliance in delivering safe, welcoming housing for older adults.
Position Summary:
The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations at the community, including resident relations, leasing, maintenance coordination, regulatory compliance, and financial performance. This position requires a compassionate, organized, and knowledgeable professional with a strong understanding of affordable housing programs and the unique needs of older adult residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of a senior housing property in accordance with HUD and PHA policies
- Ensure compliance with applicable housing regulations (e.g., HCV, LIHTC, Fair Housing, ADA)
- Lead leasing efforts, including applicant screening, waitlist management, and annual recertifications
- Maintain accurate resident files and timely reporting to housing authorities or compliance entities
- Coordinate and monitor maintenance requests, unit inspections, and vendor services
- Foster a welcoming and respectful environment for residents and visitors
- Manage property budget, collect rent, process invoices, and submit required reports
- Supervise on-site staff and vendors, conducting training and performance reviews as needed
- Collaborate with senior service providers or resident support programs when applicable
- Serve as primary point of contact for residents, family members, and partner agencies
- 3+ years of experience in residential property management (senior housing preferred)
- Prior experience with HUD, PHA, LIHTC, or other government-funded housing programs required
- Strong understanding of Fair Housing, reasonable accommodations, and tenant rights
- High school diploma or GED required; additional coursework or certifications (e.g., CPO, TCS, or Fair Housing) preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software (Real Page, One Site, Yardi, or similar)
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with a compassionate, professional demeanor
- Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 (commensurate with experience and credentials)
