Clinical Research Coordinator A/B (Spanish-speaking)

Position

Description:

The Penn Memory Center seeks a bilingual, Spanish‑speaking Clinical Research Coordinator to lead or assist in federally funded longitudinal cohort studies focused on Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. The role involves recruiting, screening, consenting, enrolling, and retaining Hispanic participants to increase diversity in our cohort.

Responsibilities
  • Screen, recruit, consent, and enroll eligible subjects following GCP guidelines.
  • Implement research protocols and guidelines, and obtain MRI and PET protocol training.
  • Schedule study visits, administer cognitive testing, and complete necessary certifications.
  • Attend community outreach events and speak publicly in English and Spanish on healthy brain aging and research studies.
  • Assist with recruitment and retention strategies for study participants.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day operations of longitudinal cohort studies.
  • Delegate duties across staff, train new staff, and maintain regulatory documents.
Qualifications
  • Coordinator A – Bachelor of Science and 1–2 years experience (or equivalent). Excellent interpersonal, writing, and analytical skills. Detail oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Coordinator B – Bachelor of Science and 2–3 years experience (or equivalent). Strong clinical research experience strongly preferred. Excellent interpersonal, writing, and analytical skills. Detail oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to delegate and lead training activities for new staff.

Position is contingent upon continued funding.
