Chemistry Subject Matter Expert (AI Training) About The Role
We're looking for chemistry experts to help train and improve the next generation of AI models. Your deep knowledge of chemistry will directly shape how AI reasons through complex scientific problems — making a real impact on one of the most exciting frontiers in technology.

Hourly Contract - Location:
Remote - Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
- Design advanced chemistry problems spanning areas such as chemical engineering, biochemistry, organic chemistry, and physical chemistry to rigorously test AI performance
- Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with precise, well-structured reasoning
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy, logical consistency, and quality
- Collaborate with researchers to refine and improve benchmarks across undergraduate to Master's-level chemistry topics
- Provide structured, actionable feedback that helps AI systems reason more like an expert
- Pursuing or holding a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
- Strong scientific reasoning and problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains
- Able to communicate complex ideas clearly and precisely in writing
- Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to evaluating accuracy and logic
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously
- No prior AI experience required
- Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems
- Familiarity with AI or machine learning workflows
- Background spanning multiple chemistry sub-disciplines
