Job Description Summary

The Miguez Laboratory is seeking a motivated Lab Technician to support research connecting fundamental extracellular matrix biology with the development of clinically relevant regenerative therapies for craniofacial and periodontal tissues.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

+ Conducting research in collaboration with postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and other laboratory members under the supervision of the Principal Investigator.

+ Routine laboratory maintenance

+ Training students and visiting scholars

+ Inventory management and ordering

+ Regulatory compliance

+ Other duties as assigned. Provide and maintain expertise in innovative solutions focused on the responsible stewardship of Penn Dental Medicine and its community experience.

Qualifications

+ The ideal candidate will have experience in cell biology, histological techniques, microscopy/imaging, molecular biology, and data and statistical analysis.

+

Experience with animal models, advanced imaging, and omics technologies is desirable but not required.

+ Bachelor of Science and 0 to 1 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
