Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Coordinator who will play a crucial role in supporting clinical trials by recruiting, screening, and enrolling subjects. The coordinator will also be responsible for explaining the informed consent process, documenting adverse events, and collecting essential study and regulatory documents. Additionally, the candidate will prepare Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications.

Responsibilities

+ Recruit, screen, and enroll subjects into clinical trials.

+ Explain the informed consent process to participants.

+ Document and report any adverse events during the trial.

+ Collect and maintain study documents, including protocols, regulatory documents, informed consents, case report forms, and source documents.

+ Prepare and submit IRB applications.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in patient enrollment and consenting.

+ Experience in clinical trials and research coordination.

+ Familiarity with good clinical practice (GCP) guidelines.

+ Ability to conduct chart reviews and pre-screen patients.

+ Experience in data entry, especially using EPIC systems.

+ Strong communication and writing skills.

+ Knowledge of IRB and human research protection regulations.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ BA/BS degree preferred.

+ 1-3 years of clinical research experience required.

+

Experience with in-hospital clinical research.

+

Experience with adverse event reporting.

+ Background in oncology research is advantageous.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.25/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
