Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Executive Sous Chef for the Philadelphia Phillies Executive Dining Room and Press dining located Citizens Bank Park. Responsibilities of this role include assisting in the daily operations of the kitchen, overseeing food preparation and presentation, ensuring food quality and safety standards are met, and supervising kitchen staff. The Executive Sous Chef will also collaborate on menu development, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Additionally, this role involves training and mentoring kitchen team members to uphold excellence in culinary and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and efficient kitchen workflows
• Skill in menu development, portion control, and recipe creation
• Experience in team leadership, training, and maintaining a positive kitchen culture
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and maintaining high sanitation standards
• Strong time management and organizational skills to oversee multiple kitchen operations
• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or catering environment
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred
