This position focuses on supervising shift operations and supporting the smooth functioning of the store. As a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 2, you will perform the following duties:

• Customer Guidance:
  Assist shoppers with locating products and offering alternatives when items are unavailable
• Staff Oversight:
  Direct clerks, review their work, and ensure proper coverage for customer service and register activity
• Inventory Control:
  Check merchandise levels, record counts, and update systems to address shortages or overages
• Cash Handling:
  Count money, prepare deposits, and verify that all funds are correct and secure during each shift
• Store Readiness:
  Open and close the store according to protocol and make sure the environment is clean and prepared for business
• Merchandise Display:
  Lead stocking efforts and ensure products are organized, rotated, and safely presented

• Full-time employment
• Work hours will vary. Scheduled hours will be equal to 75 hours biweekly.
• Telework:
  You will not have the option to telework in this position.

• One year as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 or a Liquor Store General Manager 1A (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration) ; or
• Two years as a Liquor Store Clerk 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Two years of lead retail sales work.
