TITLE: Sales Representative

LOCATION: Philadelphia, PA
ONSITE/REMOTE/HYBRID: On the road 4x's a week, onsite 1 day a week
START DATE: February/March 2026
SHIFT: M-F, 1 st Shift

We are looking for a Sales Representative who has experience selling various cuts of meat and poultry to Grocery Stores. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the types of meat that grocery stores purchase along with the pricing and yield. We need someone who is consultative and someone who is an order taker will not be a fit for this role.

Training on our way of doing things will be provided and there are many experienced members of the team who will help you get up and running.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Consistently make sales calls to existing accounts to promote growth.
• Identify and develop new customer accounts for continued growth.
• Stay up to date with additional product line, opportunities to upsell and satisfy customer requests for new items.
• Be consultative and provide competitive analysis.
• Communicate with Managers, other Sales Reps, and Customer Service.
• Collaborate with the other members of the team on all customer activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2+ years sales experience selling perishable items to grocery stores.
• Ideally you have sold meat and poultry and understand concepts such as cut, yield and price.
• Personable, friendly, outgoing, likeable, and reliable.
• Detail oriented with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Ability to work with clients both over the phone and in person.
