Position Overview

We are seeking a Technical Outside Sales Representative to drive new business and

manage customer relationships within an assigned territory. This role combines consultative

sales and technical expertise to deliver tailored inspection solutions that meet customer

production and quality requirements.

The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional who enjoys building relationships,

understanding customer processes, and identifying opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and customers
  • Conduct product presentations and technical demonstrations
  • Prepare proposals, quotes, and sales agreements
  • Understand customer production processes and recommend tailored solutions
  • Maintain sales activity and pipeline in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, service, and marketing
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows and events
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field
  • Experience in technical or industrial equipment sales (food & beverage industry preferred)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to explain technical products and solutions clearly
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Willingness to travel 40–60% within the assigned territory
  • Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
