Sales Engineer – Utility Market (Remote, Western U.S.)

Location: Remote (Candidate must reside in the Western U.S.)

Travel: 40–50%

Industry: Electrical Manufacturing / Power Distribution

What You’ll Do
  • Execute strategic sales growth plans for the utility market
  • Drive inquiry generation, order bookings, and margin achievement
  • Develop and strengthen key accounts and penetrate emerging segments
  • Collaborate with application engineers to deliver accurate, high‑quality quotations
  • Support and manage channel partners including reps, EPCs, and distributors
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure customer satisfaction and project success
  • Provide market intelligence and support marketing efforts with compelling sales collateral
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field
  • Minimum 3 years of technical sales experience, preferably in the utility sector
  • Strong knowledge of medium/high voltage electrical equipment (transformers, testing, commissioning)
  • Experience working with channel partners and managing rep networks
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Proven track record of growing market segments year‑over‑year
  • Willingness to travel 40–50% of the time
  • Must reside in the Western U.S. and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship)
