Regional Sales Manager - East CoastLocation: East Coast / Eastern United States
This is a field-based position requiring frequent travel throughout the Eastern United States, with travel of up to 50% . A valid driver's license is required, and the successful candidate must be comfortable traveling frequently across the country.
Position OverviewThe Regional Sales Manager will play a critical role in driving occupancy and revenue performance across multiple communities.
This individual will work directly with prospective residents and their families while partnering with on-site leasing and operations teams to execute sales strategies and achieve occupancy goals.
The role requires someone who is comfortable managing multiple communities, working across multiple CRM platforms, analyzing local competition, coaching leasing teams, and adapting sales strategies based on the needs of each individual market.
This is a field-based position with frequent travel of up to 50% .
Key Responsibilities Regional Sales & Leasing- Conduct in-person tours with prospective residents and their families.
- Maintain a high level of involvement in sales activities across multiple assigned communities.
- Drive sales and leasing efforts designed to maximize occupancy and support revenue growth.
- Manage and actively work within multiple CRM databases to ensure all inquiries, leads, referrals, and prospective residents receive timely and consistent communication.
- Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the needs and market conditions of each assigned community.
- Maintain consistent follow-up throughout the sales cycle to maximize lead conversion and lease-up success.
- Partner with Operations and senior sales leadership to develop and implement tailored sales and marketing strategies for assigned communities.
- Work closely with on-site teams to execute sales plans and achieve occupancy targets.
- Coach, mentor, and support leasing associates on sales techniques, CRM usage, prospect follow-up, and sales best practices.
- Provide hands-on sales support to communities as needed.
- Build strong relationships with property-level leadership and serve as a regional sales resource.
- Assist with annual lease renewals and coordinate with Property Managers regarding move-ins and move-outs to help optimize revenue.
- Maintain an up-to-date competitive analysis of local markets , including competitive communities, pricing, and market conditions.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales performance, lead conversion, occupancy, and revenue.
- Support community events, both on-site and virtually , to enhance marketing impact and generate additional sales opportunities.
- 5+ years of senior living sales experience , with a strong history of lead conversion and lease-up success.
- 5+ years of multi-site or regional sales experience preferred.
- Deep understanding of relationship-based selling, prospect nurturing, and sales cycle management .
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and understand the needs of prospective residents and their families.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment .
- Technologically savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point .
- Experience with CRM systems and Yardi is highly preferred .
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently across the country .
The ideal candidate is a confident, relationship-driven sales professional who can operate independently while also serving as a resource and coach to on-site leasing teams.
You should be comfortable working across multiple communities, managing competing priorities, analyzing sales performance, and adjusting your approach based on market conditions and individual prospect needs.
Success in this role requires a combination of sales expertise, relationship building, follow-through, technology skills, and the ability to influence teams without being physically based at one property .
