We're looking for an experienced strategic account leader who can build executive relationships, translate customer needs into commercial solutions and grow long-term partnerships with corporate veterinary groups and multi-location organizations.
As National Account Manager, you'll serve as the executive relationship owner for some of Gateway's largest and most strategically important customers - developing account plans, leading business reviews, expanding services and partnering across Sales and Operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

More Than Account ManagementThis role isn't simply about maintaining customer relationships. It's about becoming a trusted business advisor, understanding how complex veterinary organizations operate and turning insight into action. Your work will directly influence customer retention, whitespace growth, revenue expansion and Gateway's reputation as a strategic partner.
How You'll Make an Impact• Develop and execute long-term strategic account plans for corporate veterinary groups and multi-location veterinary organizations.
• Build trusted executive-level relationships with Regional Directors, Hospital Operations leaders, Medical Directors and executive leadership teams.
• Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), translating service performance, sales trends and customer priorities into clear action plans.
• Negotiate service agreements, renewals and strategic partnership initiatives that support long-term customer success.
• Lead implementation plans for newly awarded hospitals, acquisitions and service expansions to ensure seamless onboarding.
• Identify whitespace and wallet-share opportunities through consultative selling and strategic account planning.
• Partner with Care Center Managers, Operations leaders and Client Care teams to resolve complex issues and deliver consistent service across customer locations.
• Collaborate with Business Development Managers and Sales leaders on new hospital conversions, acquisitions and regional growth initiatives.
• Use Power BI, Salesforce and Pawsetrack data to track account performance, service volumes, pricing, rebates and growth or margin opportunities.
• Monitor competitive activity, emerging customer needs and industry trends, sharing market intelligence with Sales leadership.
• Represent Gateway professionally at executive meetings, customer events, conferences and industry functions.
• Mentor and support Sales team members by sharing best practices in strategic account management and executive relationship development.
