** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an education location.

+ Conduct regular and random foot patrols of academic buildings, residence halls, common areas, and perimeter spaces, noting unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns and reporting findings per post orders.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access issues, disturbances, medical calls, and/or fire alarms, and escalating to campus partners and/or emergency services as directed.

+ Monitor access points and assist with visitor check-in and/or identification verification as required, helping to deter unauthorized entry and supporting orderly movement through the location.

+ Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in a timely manner, and communicate pertinent information during shift handoff to support continuity of operations.

* + Be 21+ years of age.

+ Preferred:
Be able to lift more than 20 lbs.

+ Preferred:
Be able to ride a bike for long periods of time.

+ Preferred:
Have access control and/or badge experience.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
