** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to campus staff, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking locations, and perimeter routes; note and report unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access concerns, disturbances, and/or medical calls while awaiting additional resources.

+ Monitor entry points and common areas, help to deter unauthorized access, and support visitor check-in procedures as directed by post orders.

+ Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to site leadership, and coordinate with local authorities and/or campus resources when needed.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
