Provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an educational location;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activities and communicating updates to site leadership and/or local response partners as directed;
Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, classrooms, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns;
Support access control and guest management by monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or authorization when required, and directing people to appropriate campus resources;
Complete routine reporting, including incident reports, shift logs, and observations, and participate in briefings and post orders to support consistent security-related coverage
