Security Officer -Chestnut Hill College; Education

Position: Security Officer -Chestnut Hill College (Education)
Allied Universal - Up to $14.00/hour -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disruptive behavior, and fire and intrusion alarms, and/or by coordinating with campus personnel and local responders as needed.;
Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, residence hall exteriors, parking areas, walkways, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards and maintenance concerns.;
Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directions and campus rules, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or concerns through the required communication channels.;
Complete routine reports such as incident reports, patrol logs, and access control documentation, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
