Security Officer U of P School of Medicine

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location;
Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, grounds, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions;
Monitor access points and ensure that only authorized individuals enter restricted areas, while offering directions and general assistance to visitors and members of the campus community;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns;
Follow post orders for assigned areas and communicate with campus personnel and/or first responders when needed
