Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus community members while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities;
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned academic buildings, residence areas, outdoor walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns;
Monitor access points and report unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures;
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate campus personnel and emergency responders as directed;
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic educational environment
