Maintenance Technician - Affordable Housing | Philadelphia, PA

Salary: $19.00 - $20.00/hour | Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM | On-Call Rotation

What You'll Bring as a Maintenance Technician

• You're skilled, dependable, and care about doing the job right. You bring: 2+ years of apartment, residential, or facilities maintenance experience (painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, flooring; HVAC experience a plus).
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to cover overtime or nearby communities when needed.
• Basic computer or mobile-app skills for work orders, timekeeping, and training (we'll train you!).
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills, a plus that helps connect with our residents!

How You'll Make an Impact

Every day, you'll play a vital role in keeping our community comfortable, safe, and well cared for:

• Bring spaces to life - perform routine and preventative maintenance, including painting, drywall, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and cleaning.
• Care for the grounds - maintain curb appeal through landscaping, snow/ice removal, and seasonal upkeep.
• Respond with urgency - complete work orders promptly and rotate for emergency on-call coverage (respond within 50 minutes).
• Prioritize quality & compliance - follow all safety, property, and inspection standards with precision.
• Be part of a team that cares - work closely with peers and residents, showing empathy and pride in every repair.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00 hourly. The actual compensation may vary depending on a wide range of factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, location, etc. This range does not include additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
