Act as primary machine operator amongst a crew of outdoor plumbing professionals
Perform excavation work throughout Philadelphia, PA, and surrounding service areas
Dig safely in tight, high-density urban environments with active gas, electrical, water, and sewer lines
Support underground plumbing, sewer repair, drain, and excavation projects
Assist with trenching, back filling, grading, and job site preparation
Complete equipment inspections and maintain equipment cleanliness
Follow excavation safety procedures and company best practices
Support crew coordination and communicate effectively with field leadership

5+ years of relevant experience
Experience operating a 4-stick backhoe, preferably with familiarity with Case equipment
Experience operating mini excavators, bobcats, or similar compact excavation equipment
Familiarity with working in Philadelphia or similar dense urban environments
Strong awareness of underground utilities, including gas, electrical, water, and sewer lines
Sewer repair, drain, or excavation experience preferred
Underground plumbing experience required
Valid driver’s license
Ability to lift equipment and work outdoors year-round
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Leadership potential and interest in career growth are preferred
