Maintain knowledge of vehicle components and systems and perform preventative and repair maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment;
Repair chassis components, refuse bodies, control/hydraulic/electrical systems, air and hydraulic braking, suspension, drivetrain, steering;
Perform light engine maintenance and repairs; heating/air conditioning; welding/fabrication; on-site and road service as needed;
Identify malfunctions using electronic tools and complete required training programs;
Assist with basic inspections and contribute to safety and reliability of the fleet
