Renewance provides battery lifecycle and asset management services that support the transition to cleaner energy. We help customers safely deploy, maintain, service, and manage industrial batteries used in energy storage and EV applications.

The Field Service Technician provides hands-on technical support for industrial battery and energy storage systems, including installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and decommissioning. This role requires 75%+ regional travel to customer sites.

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair battery systems and related equipment.
• Perform cold and hot commissioning and resolve battery performance issues.
• Support battery testing, charging, balancing, and decommissioning.
• Provide on-site technical support and customer service.
• Follow OSHA, EHS, safety, and quality requirements.
• Complete field reports, expense reports, and project documentation.
• Maintain field tools and equipment.
• Work independently while collaborating with customers and internal teams.

• High school diploma/GED, technical or trade degree, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of field service, electrical power, renewable energy, industrial electrical, or similar experience.
• Electrical or technical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with controls, firmware, software, or diagnostic tools preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Safety-focused, dependable, and willing to learn.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Ability and willingness to travel 75%+.
