Experienced Driller Operator

The H&K Group is seeking an Experienced Driller Operator to support heavy civil construction projects across the Mid-Atlantic. In this role, you will safely operate drill rigs for foundations, utilities, and rock work, interpret plans, and maintain equipment. You'll work closely with a field crew on fast-paced, site-development and infrastructure jobs while upholding strict safety and quality standards. Responsibilities

• Operate heavy drilling equipment for foundation, utility, and rock drilling on construction sites
• Read and interpret plans, stakeout, and drilling specifications to complete work accurately
• Inspect, maintain, and perform basic troubleshooting on drill rigs and related attachments
• Follow all safety policies, OSHA standards, and company procedures on active job sites
• Coordinate with foremen, operators, and laborers to sequence drilling with other site activities
• Document production, depths, materials, and conditions per project requirements
• Monitor ground conditions and adjust drilling methods to ensure stability and quality
• Assist with site setup, rig moves, and equipment transport as required
• Communicate issues, hazards, or equipment concerns promptly to supervision
• Train or mentor less-experienced crew members in safe, efficient drilling practices
