Yellowstone Local, a marketing agency serving home service and trades businesses, is hiring a Carpentry Foreman to lead field crews on residential and light commercial projects for our clients. You'll oversee framing, trim, and finish carpentry, read plans, coordinate daily tasks, and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery. This role combines hands-on carpentry with crew leadership, jobsite safety, and clear communication with project managers and clients.

You'll mentor carpenters, manage materials, and support a culture of craftsmanship, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise carpentry crews on residential and light commercial projects for home-service clients
  • Interpret drawings, scopes, and project plans to lay out framing, trim, and finish carpentry work
  • Schedule, coordinate, and inspect daily tasks to ensure quality, safety, and code compliance
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate carpenters and apprentices to improve productivity and craftsmanship
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subs to clarify scope, resolve issues, and keep projects on track
  • Monitor material usage, minimize waste, and coordinate orders and deliveries with suppliers
  • Enforce jobsite safety standards, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure OSHA-compliant practices
  • Document progress, report issues, and provide accurate updates on timelines and labor needs
