- Assignment expected to exceed 90 workdays (if fewer than 90 are worked due to start date, position will be reclassified as short-term sub) In addition, Early Intervention follows a stretch calendar that includes a summer session.

Minimum Daily Salary: $368.01/ day

The School Social Worker is that professional charged with the responsibility to serve as liaison between the school and home and school and community agency. The School Social Worker reports to the Program Supervisor, of those special education programs, to which assigned.

Education Required: Master's degree in social work

Certification

Required:

School Social Work Certification; current license as a Social Worker (LSW) or licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) issued by the Pennsylvania Department of State

Experience

Required:

Field work or internship in social casework situation

Other

Qualifications:

Knowledge of school system, family system, social agency operation and ability to fit all together. Ability to work with families of children with disabilities in a knowledgeable fashion.

Valid State driver's license with a good driving record;
