School Social Workers, Counselors and Therapists

Social Work p.r.n. is seeking School-Based Counselors, Licensed Social Workers, and Therapists for immediate openings across Montgomery, Berks, Chester, and Philadelphia Counties. These roles offer the chance to make a real difference, supporting students and families while enjoying flexible, rewarding work in educational and behavioral health settings.

Current Openings

Part-Time School-Based Counselor (2 days/week) – Montgomery & Berks Counties

Provide individual and group counseling during the school year, supporting students' emotional and behavioral health.

Requirements: MSW, LSW preferred; prior school counseling or school social work experience required.

Full-Time Licensed School-Based Counselor (Temp: Jan–June 2026) – Chester County

Support students' social and emotional growth, collaborate with teachers and administrators, and assist with crisis intervention.

Requirements: PA LSW or LCSW with prior school-based experience required.

Full-Time Therapist (Temp-to-Hire) – Philadelphia County

Provide individual, group, and family therapy, crisis intervention, and recovery-focused care in a community setting.

Requirements: MSW with 2 years or BSW with 4 years of clinical or behavioral health experience.

Responsibilities

Provide direct counseling and case management to students or clients.

Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop care plans.

Collaborate with school staff, families, and community providers.

Participate in team meetings and provide referrals as needed.

Promote positive mental health and academic success.

Position Requirements

MSW or BSW from an accredited program.

PA LSW/LCSW preferred or required, depending on role.

Experience in school or behavioral health settings strongly preferred.

Strong communication, documentation, and crisis intervention skills.
