Residential Services Aide; 1st & 2nd Shifts; Selinsgrove Center

This position supports the treatment, training, and daily progress of individuals served at Selinsgrove Center. The role centers on helping each person grow by delivering dependable, compassionate service. As a Residential Services Aide, you will perform the following duties:

• Assessment Support:
  Assist with completing portions of self-care assessments, training plans, and supplemental procedures to ensure accurate information about strengths, likes, and needs
• Treatment Implementation:
  Conduct specified training plans and supplemental procedures to support active treatment
• Plan Monitoring:
  Record and report required information to help maintain and improve the effectiveness of individual plans
• Team
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Interact with interdisciplinary team members and communicate skill levels and strengths to maximize active treatment
• Record Maintenance:
  Document information in assigned records to support communication and continuity of care
• Environment Enhancement:
  Participate in selecting, purchasing, and placing furniture, equipment, and personal items to improve the therapeutic environment

• Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
• Your schedule will include rotating break days and every 3rd weekend off. Available hours include:
  • 1st shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch
  • 2nd shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch
• Overtime and travel as needed
• Free parking
• Telework:
  You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary:
  
  Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $43,376.00 (before taxes).

• Successful completion of the Aide Trainee program (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Six months of paid experience in the care, activities, and personal guidance of individuals with intellectual disabilities.

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

• A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and a drug screening.
• This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
