DESCRIPTION:

Position Overview:

As an Application Developer Lead, you can be based either in Pittsburgh (PA) or in Cleveland (OH) or in Columbus (OH).

In this role, you will work in a team of both front-end and back-end developers to create responsive and robust customer facing applications and mobile apps. The lead will champion on technology trends and development best practices, sustainable frameworks, high performance and scalable digital experience to corporate customers.

RREQUIRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:

-Hands-on development experience designing within digital, mobile and omni channel environments.

-Experience on Enterprise Java, J2EE, HTML5, CSS3, Service Oriented Architecture, Enterprise Service Bus.

-Experience on mobile application development using IBM Mobile First, native iOS/Android apps, hybrid HTML5 apps and responsive web design.

-Experience with PL/SQL, Oracle, SQL Server databases

-Familiarity with No

SQL databases such as HBase, Mongo

DB, Casandra, Couchbase

-Familiarity with security concepts multi factor/custom authentication schemes, authorization, encryption, digital signature, SSL, web service proxies, firewall, SAML 2.0, OpenID connect, OAuth 2.0, mobile device management.

-Experience in Agile methodology, day to day task management, participating in various Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, design sessions, leading and mentoring junior-mid level developers, performing hands-on development including front end or back end development. Resolving defects as they arise during testing.

-Able to work efficiently and lead water fall projects.

-Work closely with product owner(s) to recommend and implement process improvements.

-Ability to interact with Enterprise Architecture and technology vendors and influence solution design adhering to industry standard.

JOB PROFILE:

-Leads in the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.

-Directs business assessment and requirements analysis processes, for the development of hardware and operating systems.

-Analyses features such as feasibility, associated costs, time, and the compatibility of new programs with existing programs, and hardware.

-Ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved.

-Coordinates coding, testing, implementation and documentation of application solutions.

-Performs complex application programming activities including, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, maintaining, and modifying complex applications programs.

-Knowledge of and ability to utilize a variety of specific tools and toolkits for the development and support of applications.

-Knowledge of application testing and ability to design, plan and execute application testing strategies and tactics to ensure software quality throughout all stages of application development.

-Knowledge of major tasks, deliverables, and formal application delivery methodologies; ability to utilize these in order to deliver new or enhanced applications.

-Knowledge of and the ability to implement packaged application software and integrate it with company applications, databases and technology platforms.

-Knowledge of project management techniques and the ability to plan, design, develop, test, implement and maintain system development life cycle segments and phases.

-Knowledge of and ability to implement processes for the evaluation and selection of products, tools, services and infrastructure components ensuring they are in line with an organization's business needs and architectural principles.

-Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques, and the ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical (hardware, software, application or operational) problems.

-Knowledge of formal software process improvement disciplines, and ability to assess and improve the quality and operating costs associated with an existing application.
