SharePoint Developer

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a SharePoint Developer for a contract/right to hire/direct placement assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in Philadelphia, PA
.

Responsibilities :

• The Firm has an opening for a ITS Senior Developer working with Operations and Support team.
• This position will be responsible for providing ongoing level 2 support and technical issue resolution for SharePoint-based solutions.
• Works with end users to determine their work processes and their needs and how current technology solutions are being utilized.
• Design solutions using web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and web frameworks jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular, JSON.
• Develop web applications using ASP.Net MVC, .Net Core, WEB API, REST, and Entity Framework using C# in a multi-tiered environment
• Develop using Microsoft SQL Server to design relational database schemas and complex queries
• Experience with data access and storage methods in order to determine the appropriate implementation for the application requirements
• Experience with Industry best practices and coding standards
• Handle difficult/sensitive information appropriately
• Effectively communicate with customers to identify needs, evaluate alternative business solutions and suggest effective and well-designed solutions
• Works closely with Architects and Management to plan the automation direction in terms of software application development
• May be asked to mentor developers providing direction and guidance if needed
• Participates on support team acting as a senior developer and technical lead
• Ability to be "on-call and work during off hours as required.

Required
Skills
:

• Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Information Technology or Computer Scienceor equivalent significant experience in information technology and application development is required.
• 4+ years of experience designing and developing solutions using a full software development approach
• 4+ years development experience with Microsoft Visual  using C#, Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with ASP.Net MVC and .Net Core
• Experience with Web API, REST
• Experience with SQL designing database schema, views, complex queries
• Experience with HTML5, CSS, XSL, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular and JSON.
• Experience with SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and SharePoint Designer for workflows and Info Path forms.
• Strong communication skills; must be comfortable interfacing with customers.
