OBIEE Developer

This individual will play the lead role in developing and maintaining an Oracle BI (OBIEE) reporting application that supports and monitors the Business Services Hosted Solutions team. The OBIEE Developer will be responsible for working at the BI software layer and database layer to produce operational reports, dashboards and applications. This individual will also interact with management in Corporate and the local markets to utilize the metrics and analytics to enhance the Business Service user experience.

• Responsible for the development of reports and dashboards using Oracle BI (OBIEE) software. Lead the production release process including planning, dev, testing and communication/coordination with other teams.
• Develops automated file retrieval from shared folders, FTP, others data sources into warehouse
• Responsible for the administration of the OBIEE development environment including setup and maintenance. Provide basic support to users to user in the production environment.
• Assist in the operations and development of the data warehouse. Develop and implement data models used for tracking and measuring productivity and performance.
• Provide in-depth analysis of operational data to perform root cause analysis, improve efficiency, productivity and customer satisfaction. Surfaces recurring problems with work processes, policies, or procedures. Suggests ways to resolve problems to serve customers better and/or to improve productivity.
• Utilize spreadsheets, databases, and reporting software to design and generate reports as requested. Develops distribution protocol for requested information.

Must have:

• Prior Comcast experience
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) v. 11 required – including dashboards, answers, publisher/delivers, BI Publisher and general set-up and administration
• Strong SQL skills
• Working knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling and ETL required. Familiarity with SQL Server 2012 / SSIS required
• Minimum 4 yrs experience in a BI/reporting function
• Experience with building analytical, business metric reports and scorecards
• A high degree of demonstrated decision-making and problem solving is required
• Familiarity with other reporting softwares: MS Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint, and VBA.
