Title: Senior Service Now Developer

Duration : 6+ Months of Contract with Possible Extension

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Onsite from Day
1)

Roles and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and support Service Now applications and platform capabilities with a focus on Discovery, CMDB, CSDM, and ITOM.
Implement and maintain Service Now Discovery for accurate infrastructure and application dependency mapping.
Configure and manage CMDB governance, reconciliation rules, identification rules, and health dashboards.
Drive CSDM adoption and align CMDB data models with Service Now best practices.
Implement and enhance ITOM modules, including Event Management, Service Mapping, and Discovery.
Develop custom applications, workflows, integrations, and automation solutions using Service Now platform capabilities.
Create and maintain Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Flow Designer flows, and Integration Hub integrations.
Design and develop REST/SOAP integrations with enterprise applications and third-party tools.
Troubleshoot complex platform, discovery, and integration issues.
Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Participate in code reviews, platform upgrades, and release management activities.

Required Skills:

4 years of hands-on Service Now development experience.

Strong expertise in:

Service Now Discovery
CMDB Administration & Governance
Common Service Data Model (CSDM)
ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management)
Strong scripting skills using:
Java Script
Glide APIs
Script Includes
Business Rules
Client Scripts
UI Policies

Experience with Flow Designer and Integration Hub.

Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP integrations.
Strong understanding of ITIL processes and Service Now platform architecture.
Experience working with Service Portal and UI Builder is preferred.
Knowledge of MID Server configuration and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Service Now certifications preferred:
Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Certified Application Developer (CAD)
Certified Implementation Specialist Discovery
Certified Implementation Specialist ITOM
