A leading aerospace electronics company is seeking an Entry-Level Software Verification Engineer to join its engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering graduates who have a strong foundation in C programming and are looking to launch a career in embedded software.
No prior software verification experience is required. You'll receive hands‑on training while working alongside experienced engineers on safety‑critical embedded software used in aerospace applications.
Responsibilities:- Review software requirements and technical documentation.
- Develop and execute software test procedures.
- Perform graphics, I/O, unit-level, and system-level testing.
- Conduct regression and differential analysis.
- Participate in code reviews for coding standard compliance.
- Document software defects and prepare technical reports.
- Learn industry-standard software verification processes based on FAA DO-178C and DO-254.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience programming in C through coursework, internships, co-ops, research projects, or personal projects.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn.
- Assembly language exposure
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Exposure to software testing, debugging, or code reviews
- FPGA/Verilog or Excel/VBA experience is a plus
$65,000–$75,000
