Supply Chain Fulfillment Intern

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Ensure that all PSI safety procedures, rules and regulations are followed and met.
• Inventory Control:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Execute inventory adjustments and maintain proper documentation for all changes.
  • Perform quality checks on received materials and report any deviations from specifications.
• Outbound Shipment Scheduling:
  • Create and schedule outbound deliveries in SAP to meet production and customer requirements.
  • Review production orders to ensure timely and accurate shipment scheduling.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to coordinate outbound logistics activities.
• Inbound Delivery Processing / Logging:
  • Process and log incoming deliveries accurately in SAP WMS.
  • Verify received materials against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Collaborate with the receiving team to manage the flow of materials into the warehouse.
• Material Reordering:
  • Monitor inventory levels and initiate material reordering based on established parameters.
  • Work closely with vendors to track and expedite delivery of reordered materials.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure alignment with production schedules.
• MPR Entry into ETQ:
  • Record and document Material Problem Reports (MPR) in the Electronic Tracking and Quality (ETQ) system.
  • Ensure accurate and detailed entry of MPRs, following established guidelines.

• Perform other related duties as required and assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTY

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Rising Senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, & Management Operations
• Minimum GPA: 3.0
• Previous internship or coursework experience in supply chain, inventory management, logistics, or warehouse operations is a plus.
• Basic understanding of procurement and Warehouse Management systems is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience with data entry, record-keeping, or reporting is beneficial.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills demonstrated through academic or practical experience.
• U.S. work authorization required - no sponsorship available

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Environmental exposures are similar to those found in most heavy industrial settings and may include noise, heat, cold, vibration, dust, fumes and smoke. Work may be executed indoors or outdoors and may involve exposure to inclement weather conditions.

This is an on-site, full-time, safety-sensitive position. Standard days and hours of work vary by department, days and hours determined by department schedules.
