Forklift Operator / Cycle Counters

We are immediately interviewing and hiring Forklift Operator / Cycle Counters for a large food manufacturing and distribution company in Philadelphia. Offering competitive weekly pay and benefits. This role focuses on operating multiple types of powered industrial equipment in a cold storage facility while performing cycle counting, material handling, and shipping and receiving tasks. You will load and unload trucks, move and stage products, and ensure accurate order picking and pallet preparation using scan guns and established procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Operate powered industrial equipment, including electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and order/cherry pickers.
• Load, unload, move, and stage products throughout the warehouse.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory-related tasks to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Pick and process orders using RF scan guns and warehouse management systems.
• Build pallets according to customer specifications and load requirements.
• Tag, label, weigh, and wrap pallets for storage and shipment.

Qualifications/

Skills:

• Previous experience operating electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and/or cherry pickers. Certifications preferred.
• Experience in warehouse, distribution, shipping/receiving, or material handling environments.
• Ability to accurately use RF scanners and inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to read and write basic work instructions and documentation.
• Comfortable working in a cold storage environment, including refrigerated and freezer areas (32°F to
  -10°F).

Work Environment:

This role is based in a cold storage facility where the main work area is maintained around 32 degrees, and the freezer can reach temperatures as low as
-10 degrees. Cold suits are provided to employees to ensure comfort and safety while working in these conditions. The position operates across three shifts with occasional Saturday work as needed: 1st shift, 2nd shift, and 3rd shift.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $20.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
