Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance and reliability activities at our chemical manufacturing facility in New Jersey. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operation of plant equipment and infrastructure, supporting continuous production in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage all preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Oversee maintenance of process equipment including reactors, pumps, compressors, piping systems, instrumentation, and utilities.
- Develop and manage maintenance budgets, capital improvement projects, and spare parts inventory.
- Drive reliability initiatives, root cause analysis (RCA), and continuous improvement efforts.
- Supervise and develop maintenance technicians and contractors; manage scheduling and performance.
- Support plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and emergency repairs.
- Partner with Operations, EHS, Engineering, and Quality to maintain safe and efficient plant performance.
- Maintain accurate documentation within CMMS systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of maintenance leadership experience in chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, or related process manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, electrical systems, and process safety management (PSM).
- Experience with CMMS platforms and reliability-centered maintenance programs.
- Proven leadership, budgeting, and project management skills.
- Working knowledge of New Jersey environmental and safety regulations preferred.
