St. Luke's - - Responsibilities:
Fill medications and IV orders from computer-generated labels and manage medication cassettes;
Deliver medications to patient care areas and manage nursing floor stock and controlled substances inventory;
Prepare parenteral admixtures, anti-neoplastic and Home IV Therapy orders under pharmacist supervision;
Perform medication area inspections, maintain records for controlled substances, and ensure compliance with pharmacy laws;
Assist with Transitional Care Unit activities, training of new employees, and on-the-job competencies
