Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour
Roles & Responsibilities
Assess patients using evidence-based evaluation to identify needs and goals
Develop individualized treatment plans that promote function and independence
Implement therapeutic interventions including exercises, manual therapy, and gait training
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and therapists to coordinate high-quality care
Document assessments, plans, and progress clearly and timely in the medical record
Educate patients and families to support recovery, home programs, and injury prevention
Monitor outcomes and adjust treatment plans to ensure measurable progress
Qualifications
Licensed Physical Therapist or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
Doctorate or degree in Physical Therapy preferred
Current BLS or CPR certification
Comfortable working in a fast-paced rehab environment
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Ability to provide compassionate care across a diverse patient population
Education
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred;
Bachelor or Master in Physical Therapy or related field accepted
Knowledge & Skills
Skilled in therapeutic exercise prescription and progression
Proficient with manual therapy techniques and functional mobility training
Experience with balance, gait, and neuromuscular re-education interventions
Familiarity with clinical documentation and electronic medical records
Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
Strong clinical reasoning and outcome-driven approach
