Summary / Objective

Norwescap is seeking a dedicated IT Assistant that will support the connectivity and stability of the Norwescap IT Infrastructure.

Essential Functions
  • Oversee and support the backbone of the agency-wide network for all sites
  • Setup, support and provide accessibility for all information systems used by the program and grants
  • Monitor and maintain all IT hardware including servers and firewalls
  • Set up and support all backups of the agency information systems
  • Maintain and support NORWESCAP's email systems
  • Implement all security measures for IT security
  • Help with planning a disaster recovery plan for all types of emergencies to produce the smallest down time
  • Monitor and maintain anti-virus and malware software
  • Support all internet connections
  • Help with repair and recycling of all IT equipment
  • Keep up with new technology through continuing education and seminars
  • Any other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Associate's degree in IT or related field (preferred)
  • 2 years of IT experience and/or hardware experience
  • A combination of relevant experience and education will be considered
