Our location history starts in 1865 when Warren Foundry and Machine Company casted stoves, steam engines, mill gearing and other foundry related items. Currently we specialize in the casting of iron ductile pipes that range from 3" to 24" in diameter.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, fumes, noise, and extreme heat. The environment may also include wet or humid conditions, vibrations, and occasional exposure to chemicals.
Job SummaryThe Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily manufacturing operations across their assigned production areas (Casting, Finishing, Melting). This position ensures safety, quality, and production goals are achieved in a heavy industrial environment while leading teams in physically demanding conditions.
Pay Rate between $75,000 to $85,000
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily production operations across multiple manufacturing areas (casting, melting, finishing), leading teams of approximately 15–35 hourly employees
- Direct workforce activities, assign job duties, and monitor performance to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety expectations are consistently met
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture by interpreting and applying company policies, OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and safety programs
- Monitor machinery, equipment, and production processes to ensure efficient operation; identify malfunctions and coordinate or direct necessary repairs or adjustments
- Examine materials and products at all stages of production to ensure compliance with quality specifications and identify nonconforming materials or defects
- Interpret production schedules, job orders, specifications, and customer requirements to effectively plan and execute daily operations
- Adjust staffing levels, workflows, and work procedures to meet production demands, improve efficiency, and maintain product quality
- Maintain accurate and timely production records, including timekeeping, output, scrap, and performance metrics
- Ensure availability and proper use of materials, tools, and equipment; requisition and inspect materials as needed
- Analyze production data and operational challenges to identify opportunities for improvement in safety, quality, productivity, and equipment performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational, equipment, and personnel issues; support employees in problem‑solving efforts
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and other departments to ensure coordinated and efficient plant operations
- Ensure completion of all required employee training, including safety training, JSAs, and job‑specific instruction
- Conduct regular safety audits and observations to identify hazards and enforce compliance with all safety standards
- Administer discipline and address employee performance or attendance issues in accordance with company policy
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and recommend enhancements to processes, equipment, and working conditions
- Foster employee engagement by motivating teams, promoting accountability, and supporting a collaborative work environment
- Perform or assist with hands‑on production tasks as needed to support operations and meet production goals
- Communicate expectations, updates, and policies clearly to employees and ensure understanding of work instructions and procedures
- Coordinate with other supervisors and departments to align production activities across the facility
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall plant operations
