Security Officer Full Time Morning – Phillipsburg, NJ

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access issues, and critical situations calmly, documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, loading and shipping areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and vehicles in accordance with site protocols, while assisting with access control and visitor processing.
• Support daily operations by communicating clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal personnel, completing required reports, and following post orders for assigned duties and changing conditions.

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
