Maintenance Technician
The Electrical Controls Technician (Building Maintenance Technician) is responsible for maintaining the facility, grounds, and building systems to ensure safe, reliable operations in a manufacturing environment. This role performs a wide range of maintenance activities, including electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical repairs, rigging, preventative maintenance, and facility improvements, while closely supporting ongoing operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and facility infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and structural issues throughout the facility.
- Maintain doors, windows, walls, ceilings, floors, roofing systems, and other building components to ensure proper function and safety.
- Assist with office renovations, facility upgrades, and construction-related projects.
- Perform painting, drywall repair, masonry, and general carpentry tasks as needed.
- Assist with the maintenance and repair of manufacturing support equipment.
- Perform equipment setup, installation, relocation, and rigging activities.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phillipsburg, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
