Outbound Assistant Team Lead- 2ND SHIFT

Now hiring an Outbound Assistant Team Lead – 2nd Shift at a warehouse/distribution facility—enjoy 2nd shift hours with opportunities to lead on the floor and keep operations moving safely and efficiently. This role pays $19.50/hr and is ideal for a hands-on warehouse professional ready to step into a leadership support position while still performing daily outbound/warehouse work.

As an Outbound Assistant Team Lead, you’ll help ensure product is stored, shipped, and received accurately while meeting quality, safety, security, and productivity standards. You’ll also help guide and support team members and step in for the Team Leader when needed.

• Monday to Sunday start and end times may vary. Start times can occur between 11 am to 2pm and end times can be between 8 pm to 12 am.

• Perform daily warehouse functions efficiently and professionally (similar to Warehouse Checker/Warehouse Worker duties)

• Support the Team Leader by instructing and assisting team members on the floor
• Step into Team Leader responsibilities in their absence
• Assist leadership with special customer-required projects and tasks
• Help coordinate warehouse space utilization and support physical inventory efforts
• Provide general business/operational support as assigned
• Lead and guide lower-grade subordinate staff

• High School Diploma, equivalency certificate, or significant relevant work experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, and/or transportation
• Ability to demonstrate leadership and take initiative
• Knowledge of material handling, warehouse operations, and transportation
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to pull, lift, and bend; must be able to lift at least 20 lbs
