Staff Accountant - North Phoenix

Overview

Vaco is hiring a Staff Accountant for our top client in North Phoenix! This is a contract-to-hire opportunity paying $35/hour, ideal for someone with strong fixed asset accounting experience who wants a path to permanency.

• Implement and enforce fixed asset accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Prepare journal entries across the full lifecycle of fixed assets
• Complete monthly account reconciliations for assigned accounts
• Prepare financial reporting schedules used for internal and external reporting
• Support internal and external auditors by providing documentation and responding to audit requests

• Working knowledge of fixed asset accounting
• Strong Excel skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
